To reduce high blood pressure use Seasame oil as it contains omega-6s, polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and sesamin. Sesamin is a lignan compound that reduces the absorption of cholesterol in the body and improves heart health. Have around 25gm of sesame seeds daily for 2 months or include sesame oil in your diet.

• Garlic

Garlic has blood thinning properties which makes it a significant home remedy for decreasing blood pressure. It forces out extra sodium and water from your body into urine which removes extra pressure from the heart. Extract the juice from 2 cloves of garlic and mix it into a glass of water. You can also eat two cloves of raw garlic or hold the garlic cloves in your mouth and suck the juice for 15 minutes.

• Coconut water

Coconut water lowers blood pressure as it is filled with potassium and magnesium electrolytes. It helps in removing extra water from the body but retain vital potassium which is good for heart muscles. Drink coconut water daily twice daily.

• Watermelon
